What is QNTNs.com?

QNTNs.com is an internet space to archive Quentin Staley’s writings and ideas. Quentin is particularly good at purging. So much so, many of his works have already been deleted. To mitigate this, he self-publishes.

The name of the site is Quentin without the vowels, so Qntn, but possessive, so QNTN’s. There are so many ways to spell Quentin (Quinton, Quintin, Quinten, Quenton, Quenten, etc.) that reducing the name to its consonants fixes any confusion.

Is this Substack QNTNs.com?

No. The Substack is to help QNTNs Search Engine Optimization and to allow Quentin’s friends and family to subscribe to automatic alerts when new works are published (every few weeks, months, or so). The actual site is built with Webflow and better suits Quentin’s vision for design and custom social media.

Quentin deleted QNTNs.com. Everything that lived there now lives here. Hosting websites costs money. This does not.

Is there a pay wall?

Ha! No. This is a hobby. Art for art’s sake. It’s free. I will only ask for money if I become famous, at which point the money will go to support other artists.

However, thank you to the many who do use Substack as a subscription service, helping the development of such a beautiful space for self-publishing. I support pay walls. For my own work, however, no thanks.
